xSqlPs PowerShell Module contains resources xSqlServerInstall, xSqlHAService, xSqlHAEndpoint, xSqlHAGroup, and xWaitForSqlHAGroup DSC source for installing and configuring a SQL Server. These DSC resources allow users to install SQL Server from software hosted on a network or shared locally, enabling SQL High Availability Services (HA) and SQL HA endpoint configuration.
In the xSqlPs PowerShell Module, the xSqlServerInstall resource is responsible for installing SQL Enterprise on the target machine. The xSqlHAService resource is responsible for enabling the SQL high availability (HA) service on a specific SQL instance. The xSqlHAEndpoint resource is responsible for configuring an instance of the service.
DbViewSharp is software that helps you use and manage databases and can create and test database connections before starting. In addition, DbViewSharp software also provides you with intelligent search of data in tables

The xSqlHAGroup resource in the xSqlPs PowerShell Module is responsible for configuring a SQL HA group. If the HA group does not exist, it creates a group with the name taken from the SQL instance and adds the HA group database to the local SQL instance. The xWaitForSqlHAGroup resource is responsible for waiting until the SQL HA group is ready by checking the status of the HA group with the name provided at intervals until the HA group is detected or the number of retries reaches its maximum.
Note These resources assume several aspects of the SQL Server installation process. The SQL Server Enterprise installer requires .NET 3.5 installed, so SQL Enterprise installation DSC resources require .NET 3.5 installed on the machine.
In addition to the xSqlPs PowerShell Module, you can refer to and use SQL-Hero. This is a practical, useful, and effective application for SQL developers. With the help of SQL-hero, users have the ability to monitor multiple SQL statements, see differences between two or more SQL schemas, as well as to compare data between tables.
