The upcoming stable version of the Google Chrome browser for PC and laptop will add the Privacy Guide feature, making it easier for browser users to understand and implement online privacy, safety, and security settings.
The Privacy Guide includes step-by-step instructions for implementing existing privacy and security controls on browsers that have been “simplified.” In a blog post, Google said it has developed new guidance at the Google Safety Engineering Center (GSEC). The purpose behind the idea is to provide users with instructions, approaches, and why it is “necessary” to enable/disable this privacy setting.
